Turning Scraps Into End Grain Cutting Boards

A few times every year, I go through all my scrap wood and make end grain cutting boards. I organize the wood that I want to use into groups depending on length. I can then clean up and glue the strips together into blanks. I make all my blanks the same width so I can mix and match to get a very random look. What I love about this is that all the pieces that make up the cutting boards came from other projects. The cutting boards become a reminder of all the projects that went into them.
