How can we imagine and create tools to deal with conflict outside of the state? How can we grow our self awareness around the ways we move through conflict so we can practice just ways of relating? Join this session to learn concrete tools for de-escalation. This workshop will cover a spectrum of scenarios - from mediating conflict with people we know to intervening on behalf of someone being harassed on the street. Participants will leave this session with more strategies to use to safely and effectively de-escalate. "We are the ones we've been waiting for"- June Jordan
