WPD K9 Officer participates in Read Across America 2023
Watsonville Police K9 Officer Ruben Zendejas and his partner, K9 Canelo spent some time at a local elementary school celebrating Read Across America Day!
After introducing K9 Canelo, Ofc. Zendejas had the opportunity to sit and read to several kinder students from Freedom Elementary.
We absolutely love attending these events and seeing so many happy faces!

El Oficial Rubén Zendejas, y su compañero, K9 Canelo, disfrutaton su visita en una escuela primaria de Watsonville celebrando el Día Nacional de la Lectura en América.
Después de presentarles a nuestro perro policía, el Ofc. Zendejas tuvo la oportunidad de sentarse y leerles a varios estudiantes de kínder de la escuela Freedom Elementary.
