Diana Roberts, born in India under the Raj. Bampton in Oxfordshire

Diana Roberts was born in India c1922. She was sent to England for her education but she went straight back to India after she finished school. Diana talks about life in India as a child and then as the wife of a British Army Officer. Her parents were Irish and her father was a doctor in the Indian Army. This is a wonderful account of life under the Raj. She mentions her husband's war time in Burma and what she did and where she stayed in India during the war.
