12-spool Meccano Magnetic Maypole Braiding Machine

This is my version of Mike Blayney's magnetic braider - where the bobbins are held in place on their carriers by small Neodymium magnets, thus doing away with the need for "tracks". It means that the braiding action is very open and visible. The braiding scheme here is that used by Sr Servetti in his braiding machine where every second carrier takes its spool right around a complete turn before passing it on to loop around the next carrier.
This braider was completed in September 2011 and documented in International Meccanoman 64 for December 2011.
