About me:
Liam Asplen is a queer actor, poet, drag/cabaret artist and fetish crafter based in London. Ranging, from the ridiculous to the raw, Liam and their alter ego, Evangelina Holie, want to tell queer stories without barriers, and have a camp old time doing it. Working on several multimedia platforms, Liam aims to create performance and performative wear that embodies identity sexuality and fetish, whilst staying true to the "behind the bins" glamour they know so well.
This tutorial was produced in conjunction with London LGBTQ+ Community Centre (@ldnlgbtqcentre) and their Queer Skills Swap program. This is the second part of a 2 part fetish series that explores gender and identity within fetish in the queer community, the first part being an online seminar with leading fetish figures on how we can explore notions of gender and queerness through our sexual inclinations.
About London LGBTQ+ Community Centre:
The group consists of LGBTQ+ volunteers in London who have been working to set up a Community Centre in our vibrant city. The Centre will be a completely accessible, multi-purpose space, run by and for LGBTQ+ people as a not-for-profit. It will be open from morning until night for use by individuals and campaigning groups.
