Topic: Walk By Faith, NOT By Sight! (Shift Your Focus, We Must Learn How To Rely On God’s Guidance Instead Of Our Own Understanding)

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV) For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV) For we live by faith, not by sight.

Question: What are you led by? What directs your decisions, your actions, your words, and your thoughts? Do you walk by faith or by sight?

Realize we ALL place our faith in something or someone! Most of us depend on what our eyes see and how we feel to guide and direct our decisions, actions, words, and thoughts! For us , “seeing is believing.” But the Bible says just the opposite, “believing is seeing.”

As Christian Believers, we are called to walk and live by faith, not by sight! We cannot be moved by the things we see!!! Our senses can deceive us. Causing us to misinterpret what we do, see and hear. Therefore, we are called to put our faith FULLY in God rather than relying on what we see! That’s right, FAITH allows us to see our lives through a different lens! It’s from God’s Perspective, His Point of View, and His Truth!

Walking by faith is an invitation to align our lives with God’s promises, to lean on His wisdom, and to put His guidance above any fear or doubt we might have!

It takes rooted FAITH to trust God’s timing when we want answers, NOW and when our strength is shaky! Don’t become discouraged or distracted by what you see. Be determined to walk by faith, not by sight! Knowing God is with you and therefore, He will give you victory even over what seems impossible or unattainable!

Today, don’t be blinded by your natural circumstances! Instead be led and encouraged by your faith in God! He will work everything together for your good!
