How to Make a Perfect Sign Everytime (CNC)

I've been trying to think of a way to do this without the use of a CNC if you have any ideas shoot your thoughts in the comments below.

A technique that I thought of from back in my college days, in printmaking we would use registration marks for lining our prints up. I figured taking the same concept using a CNC to register each letter with two or more pins would be very helpful in keeping things straight and in place.

This Sign is headed to Salon Noir in Reno Nevada, I am hoping it can hold up to that desert sun but time will tell, something not shown in the video in the many many layers of UV resistant spar varnish. Time will tell though, I told my client if it does not make it to call me up and I would take care of it.

If I was to make it again the cutouts would have been made from Cast PVC, a tight deadline did not make that possible for this particular sign.
