Stepping into DOOM 32X for the first time… and yeah, I finally gave the SEGA 32X version a shot 🔥 I’ve always been curious about this one, especially with all the weird compromises they had to make just to get it running. From the cropped play window to the performance tweaks, it’s kinda wild seeing how they balanced speed vs visuals compared to the SNES version. And honestly? It plays smoother than I expected. I also talk a bit about how it stacks up against other early console ports like the 3DO release, which was one of the only real competitors back then.
Also… I played this whole thing barefoot showing off my pretty feet, but let’s be real, for a game like DOOM I probably should’ve laced up some combat boots instead 😈🔥
