Tozawa caught Johnson with a brutal german suplex and followed with another with a bridge to win the match. Tozawa’s first on NXT was in December 2016, teaming up with Tajiri against Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Tag Titles. Gargano caught Tozawa in the corner, Ciampa caught Tajiri with a knee and they hit Tozawa with the meeting in the middle to retain the titles. His first on 205 Live was in January 2017 against Aaron Solow. Tozawa caught Solow with a snap german suplex to win the match. Tozawa’s first on Raw was a week later against Drew Gulak. Tozawa caught Gulak with a german suplex to win the match. His first on Main Event was in April 2017 against Drew Gulak. Tozawa caught Gulak with a snap german suplex to win the match. Tozawa’s first on Smackdown was in April 2021 in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, where he got eliminated first by Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. His first on NXT Level Up was in September 2023 against Duke Hudson. Duke hit Tozawa with a Crucifix Powerbomb to win the match. Tozawa’s first on Speed was in June 2024 against Nathan Frazer. Frazer superkicked Tozawa and hit him with the Phoenix Splash to win the match.
