Early Grade Reading Instruction (EGRI) in IsiZulu HL

Theme: Synchronizing Leadership for Foundational Literacy Excellence

WATCH | Ms Zanele Sibisi-Shabalala, EGRI, as she restates the purpose of the session.

The session aims to reiterate the province-wide integrated reading programme and its alignment with the long-term goals of Vision 2030, to present the EGRI Scale 2 implementation plans to CESs for critical engagement, official endorsement, and high-level support. It will also strengthen CES roles in district-level implementation, MANCO reporting, and monitoring of school cohorts for the 2026 scale-up.
