OFF GRID CABIN | DIY Shelves, Garden Beds, and Maple Sugar

Welcome back to the cabin.
In this video, I install open shelving in the kitchen, as well as build garden beds using the Shou sugi ban method for wood preservation. It chars the outer layer of the wood, making it more water-resistant, as well as helping to repel bugs. I also make some maple sugar and cook up a meal on the wood stove using homemade maple syrup.
