Miki Howard - Until You Come Back To Me

Miki Howard, a Chicago native, living in Los Angeles, had a string of R&B hits in the late 1980s and early 1990s, such as, 'Until You Come Back To Me' (originally written and sung by Stevie Wonder and later covered by Aretha Franklin), 'Love Under New Management', 'Come Share My Love', 'Ain't Nobody Like You', 'That's What Love Is' (a duet with the late Gerald LeVert), and 'Imagination'. She was started her career as a member of Side Effect, a soul and funk vocal quartet of the 1970s and early 1980s before she went on a solo career. Howard portrayed Billie Holiday in Spike Lee's Malcolm X film, followed by a featured role in John Singleton's film, Poetic Justice. She has since maintained a low-key profile and released albums throughout the '90s and early 2000s, a few of them where she covers others artists. Her releases during these years included Femme Fatale (1992), Shining Through (1993), Miki Sings Billie (1993), Live Plus (1996), Can't Count Me Out (1997), Three Wishes (2001), and Pillow Talk (2006).
