Dekatron and Nixie Tube Clock

The circuitry is all-tube, no solid-state components, and it's built with the construction style and materials available at that time.

This video shows setting the clock time to 23:59:00, the clock rolling over to 00:00:00, then setting the alarm to 00:01:00 and hearing it sound off. The sound at the beginning is so you can get your volume control set properly. If you're a true cold war radio enthusiast you'll easily recognize the tune.
