Peeples Place Q&A: Quebe Sisters at Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival, 04-21-12

Grace, Hulda and Sofia Quebe of The Quebe Sisters Band from Fort Worth, Texas spoke with Santa Clarita journalist Stephen K. Peeples on the Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio backlot on Saturday, April 21, 2012. The sisters and their band had just come off the stage after headlining the annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival. Among other things, the ladies talked about their fourth SCCF gig (every other year since 2006), their musical growth since their first visit to Santa Clarita; playing in Scotland; at the Ryman with Marty Stuart; and a preview of songs slated for the third Quebes album. The band is due back in Santa Clarita for the 2014 Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival.
