The polyphoenix oak sticks are designed so you can drop them directly into the opening of standard whiskey bottles.

This means you can oak age a product easily by toasting the oak stick then dropping it directly into the neck of any standard bottle that is 19.5mm diameter or larger.

These sticks are made from seasoned american oak and depending on how you toast the stick you will be able to get flavour ranging from almond, nuts to vanilla or even sweet or fruity notes for light toasting.

We will also soon start to stock pre-toates oak sticks that you do not even have to toast yourself. These will be toasted at 210C for 2hrs and then flame treated after this.

Why have a spirit like whiskey sitting on the shelf doing nothing in the bottle when it could be continuing to mature and oak age.

The testing of these oak sticks was ingredible with a highly noticable difference between the un-oaked and oaked whiskey.
