VW Crafter DIY Camper Van Conversion. In this episode I add more items to the interior and start painting at last
I also added the trim to the top of all top boxes etc
This is my way of painting, it may not be the right way for everyone
I forgot to mention that if you are using oil based undercoat and it starts to go a bit thick, and the brush begins to drag, such as if you leave the lid off for any significant time, or it hasn't been stirred enough to begin with just add a small amount of white spirit NOT turps, add in small amounts a few drops at a time or your paint will become too thin
I used a brush and a roller so as not to get paint on the lip of tin from pouring paint into a roller tray, any dried on the edge of tin can fall into the paint when re-opening opening a leave small crusty pieces which need to be removed
The image of the varnish in the video isn't very clear, I used Ronseal diamond hard gloss which is recommended for painted surfaces
Also forgot to mention that in the video I was using the wrong brush for the varnish, for best results you should use a synthetic fibre brush
