Correct latching

Breastfeeding should not be painful but some mothers experience pain in the early weeks of breastfeeding. This can be because of incorrect latching leading to early problems.

The 100% Breastfed campaign aims to help new mothers and their families understand the benefits of breastfeeding (regardless of their income and social standing), and to create a supportive community that destigmatises the age-old practice of breastfeeding.

The 100% Breastfed campaign videos were created by Digital Medic South Africa, an initiative of the Stanford Centre for Health Education and the Stanford School of Medicine.
