FRENCH COUNTRY SHABBY CHIC FARMHOUSE CUTTING BOARD & WINDMILL DIY'S (143)

In this video I transform a galvanized metal windmill I purchased from Dollar General using free printables from the Graphics Fairy website. I show how to decoupage the blades and then add embellishments from Totally Dazzled to make this piece into a French Country Shabby Chic Farmhouse decor piece! I also show how I take a cutting board I purchased from a yard sale for $1 using some craft paint to create a stain, then demonstrate an easy candle wax distressing method. I paint the board with Rustoleum Chiffon Cream chalk paint and for the stain I used craft paint in burnt umber. I printed all my printables onto regular printer paper and used mod podge and Gorilla Spray Adhesive. These projects were very inexpensive and easy to make! Makes a great addition to any shelf or farmhouse setting.

I stage all the pieces showing the many ways they can dress up any space in your home and bring out that French Country Shabby Farmhouse flare!
