SHUTTLE BUS Conversion | COPS Called | Removing The Interior & Ceiling | DIY Demolition Day 1

Hey you guys! I’m Emily and that’s Austin and our dog Zeus. Last time you saw us, we had just purchased our brand new shuttle bus! We were super excited to have finally put our dreams in motion. The three of us plan to travel around the US in our new home for an entire year starting in 2021.
We pulled out of the bus yard with the title in hand and not a worry in the world. Then we woke up the next morning to a rude awakening...

Honestly guys, we really had no idea where to start for the demolition.. I suggested to start with the stripper poles in the front of the bus. It is amazing to see how much bigger this bus seems already now that we have removed excess interior.

I really wanted to rip the flooring out next, but Austin insisted that we needed something to stand on. So we went with the ceiling instead. My brother Ryan is helping us with the build so I am sure he was happy to get a little bit of extra head room (he is 6'5").

Austin and I hadn’t expected to be able to find the perfect bus this fast! We had plans to start the the conversion in June at our friends workshop. But because we are ahead of schedule we have been working on the bus at my parents house, which has been a great opportunity to spend some much needed family time before hitting the road.
