2020 Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge | February Update

Back in 2018, Porsche released “Project Gold”. A 993 generation 911 Turbo based on an original bodyshell which was turned into a 911 Turbo S Exclusive series. Painted in Golden Yellow Metallic with exclusive optioned wheels and interior it allowed Porsche to turn back the clock and create a truly one of a kind machine. With the used of Porsche Classic period correct parts, Project Gold seemed like it was optioned from the factory in this spectacular image.

Our client has always loved the looks of the 911 turbo, better known as the 930 Turbo. Knowing this, we here at Porsche Center Calgary are re-imagining his 911 G-body, just as Porsche Classic did their 993 Turbo “Project Gold”. Since our client never got the opportunity to purchase his iconic 911 new, we are giving him the chance to go back in time and request the option codes he truly desires. With modern technology at our side and the amazing history that the Porsche Classic parts program provides, we will be able to bring Classic Porsche Exclusivity to the next level.

Just as like out 2019 Porsche Classic restoration competition car, the 1997 911 C4S, “Wide Body” is on our minds. The M491 Package will be brought to our clients 1989 911 body. Our goal? Turbo look on a diet!
