Choir! sings Bill Withers "Lean On Me" For Clintons!

A few weeks back, our home for five years, Clintons Tavern was suddenly closed. We don't know the exact details but the landlord was forced to take decisive action after the business owner went AWOL. What we do know is that the staff was owed back pay and suddenly out of work. We rallied our community to hold a fundraiser down the road at Lee's Palace, with all proceeds going to the staff. We also started an online campaign to help them. Between this and the event, we have raised close to 10k. This is what community is, rallying around your friends when times get tough. After so many years of taking care of us, we wanted them to know that we were there for them. We sang Bill Withers' Lean On Me to drive the point home even harder. Now, a couple weeks later, the world is falling apart at the seams with the corona virus pandemic.
