Walking into the legendary, 130 year old Fairmont Banff Springs hotel in the majestic Rocky Mountains, and it feels like you've stepped into another world. Is there a more perfect backdrop for a luxurious Persian wedding than Canada's "castle in the Rockies" in Banff National Park? The answer lies in these next few minutes, perhaps when Arian walked up to Helya for their epic first look in front of the vista. Or when Helya walked down the aisle in the incomparable Mt. Stephen Hall. Maybe it was when the entire wedding party danced into the glittering Alhambra Room for the grand entrance.

No need to choose a favourite, it's the Banff wedding of dreams, and we loved it all. But above all, we are thankful that Helya and Arian brought us to Alberta for the first time. Whenever we cross paths with such lovely people, beautiful things happen, wherever we are.
