What You Should Know About Post-COVID Conditions and the Accommodation Process - Webinar
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires covered employers to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities. This can include individuals experiencing limitations from post-COVID conditions. The ADA accommodation process can be confusing but understanding disability disclosure and ways to request and negotiate accommodations at work can make the process easier to navigate. This training will introduce attendees to the Job Accommodation Network (JAN) service, including an overview of ADA rights and the accommodation request process, and offer job accommodation considerations to address limitations associated with post-COVID conditions.
Presented by Tracie DeFreitas, Director of Training, Services, and Outreach for the Job Accommodation Network (JAN)
