Blind Space — Original Film Score (2018)

Blind Space is a sci-fi short film that follows Allen, a man who lives in a virtual world that never changes—until a boy disrupts Allen's world and forces him to consider what it would take to help another in need. I wrote and directed the film, which explores some of my anxieties about future technology and human empathy.

I also banged out an atmospheric score for it on the second-to-last day of post production and, apart from some remixing for this release, never changed a note (so I hope you won't be able to tell!).

I've been sitting on this music for a little (since May last year) while waiting for the film to make its festival debut, which is happening this weekend, along with From the Furnace, which I also edited, scored, etc. (and perhaps unwisely ALSO uploaded today!). I certainly hope to keep scoring things in the future, and I recently set up a Bandcamp account to collect all of these. Hopefully I'll do an album of purely original, context-free material before long, too! ;)
