Lugger Falcons have always been regarded by many falconers as sub standard compared to other falcons, such as the Peregrine. As a result their mass decline accross their entire wild range of the Indian subcontinent, has gone almost unnoticed by the falconry community.

One of the Projects aims, is to raise the profile of the Lugger Falcon and engage more falconers with the conservation of the species in the wild. Luggers have always been described as simply awful to hood...
