OMMO Metal Detector - Testing it in the REAL World

In this video, I take the OMMO metal detector I recently did an unboxing and air test for, and took it out to see how it would perform in the real world. I took it to a nearby school, which I knew should be a target rich environment, and gave it a chance to see how it would perform. I had high expectations for it because it did so well in the air test. Sadly, the expectations didn't match the reality. The reality left me very frustrated and confused. Other than some iron targets, it wouldn't give me a repeatable signal on anything really. I would get a beep, swing over that area multiple times, and get nothing else. I went back over my steps with my Equinox with sensitivity turned way down to see if I had missed anything, and I found a ton of targets the OMMO apparently didn't want to find. Super easy items too, like coins on the surface or an inch deep. I think the OMMO is on the right path, but at the moment I can't recommend spending your money on one. Until they can get the actual detection part of the metal detector working right, then it really serves no purpose. Hopefully they can indeed do this. If they can get it to be reliable and perform more like it did in the air test, then it'll be a pretty good little detector.
