His heart returned to his homeland after his death.
Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849) – Polish composer. His talent was so great that in many ways he was ahead of his time. Chopin's main contribution to the style of new romanticism was an unpredictably rich rhythm and changeable metrics, which, as it were, debunked the classical ideal of proportionality of musical structures and put independent self-expression in music in the first place. In the autumn of 1830, the composer was forced to leave his beloved Warsaw with all his heart and emigrate to Paris. Many years later, after the death of Fryderyk Chopin, his heart was transported from Paris to Warsaw and walled up in one of the side walls of the Church of the Holy Cross. This is how once, having left his homeland, he returned home only after death.
