2022 Audi S8 has lost its DNA

The 2022 Audi S8 comes with a 563 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque twin-turbo V-8 engine with Quattro all wheel drive as standard. It’s a big sedan however compared to the regular A8, the S8 suspension is set up for sharper handling and is also fitted with 21 inch wheels.

Top speed is limited to a traditional 155mph however the S8 will get you there fast. 0-60 is completed in an impressive 3.2 seconds thanks to the traction of the Quattro AWD system and a quick eight-speed automatic transmission.

The S8 is still mainly a discreet luxury saloon car, however underneath you’ll find parts fitting a sports coupe with equipment such as a torque-vectoring rear differential and rear-wheel steering for quicker and better handling. In addition you can option for powerful carbon-ceramic brakes.

The inside of the S8 is filled with the most up to date tech such as touchscreens for the control climate, audio and navigation.

You also get a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit digital gauge cluster, a 10.1-inch upper infotainment system and an 8.6-inch lower display as standard along with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and an on-board Wi-Fi hotspot.
