A fresh products market from Istanbul villagers every Sunday. It is hard to believe that megacity Istanbul has villages. Unfortunately they have a existence problem because of large construction projects. The new Istanbul municipality began to support the villagers by providing them with free seedlings to start farming again. And they can sell their fresh products like fresh seasonal fruit and fresh seasonal vegetables in this market without intermediaries. It is not a market where you can find everything. It is limited but you can buy fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables direct from the farmer. This market is in the same place where also the famous Tuesday Market is located. Another bonus in this video is a flea market on the same day, if you are interested.

You can reach the market with the 8A public bus from Kadıköy center, near the ferry station.
