Por un lado todo el desarrollo que se ha logrado han abierto las posibilidades para más de un millón de personas que ahora habitan y por otro lado, el choque con el medio ambiente. ¿ Qué tanto se considera progreso y qué tanto es agresión a la naturaleza?

The settlers of Cancun tell their story, how this city has been exclusively designed to be a touristic destination and how the Bank of Mexico planned it all, but the big success it could have. Less than half of a century has past now, and today, Cancun is the no.1 touristic destination in all Latin America. In one hand, all this development has opened a new life possibility for more than one million people that live in the city right now; on the other hand, theres the environmental cost. But, when it comes to progress and environmental damage, where do we draw the line?
