Located in the prestigious neighborhood of the Gokulam area in Mysuru, the client wanted a house that is designed as per the Vastu Purusha Mandala.

The planning of the house revolves around the Brahmasthana or the double-height central court, which establishes a sense of coherence between the two levels. The elevation is a perfect tease of lines with various screens and jaalis that allow ample light and air into the home.

Principal Architect Thomas Parambil narrates the design philosophy behind this minimal home in Mysuru.
