At Hardwear.io this year I spoke about using a surplus power supply bought on eBay to drastically improve the performance of the PicoEMP, a low cost fault injection tool. Without any mods, it's a fun toy to demonstrate the effects of an EMP on a device. WITH mods, it's a serious hacking tool!
