Riu Hotel Cancun Full Walk-Through | Cancun All-Inclusive Hotel | Oceanview Double Room Riu Cancun

Welcome back to all of my imaginary friends to another video from our January 2021 stay at the Riu Hotel Cancun. This time, we're going to take you on a walking tour of the hotel from entering the front door into the lobby, to the front desk and through many of the restaurants, pools and entertainment venues.

The Riu Hotel in Cancun is our 3rd all-inclusive resort we've stayed in between 2019 and 2021. The Riu was definitely our favorite so far and, overall we highly recommend this resort. Not only is it beautiful with great amenities but it's conveniently located within the Cancun Hotel Zone as well.

Our experience with the food at the Riu was a bit mixed, but this was also our experience at other Cancun all-inclusives. The sit-down restaurants were a bit mixed, with some being quite good and others not so much. The buffet at the Riu Cancun was wonderful - we enjoyed it more than the sit-down restaurants. And as with all of our all-inclusive experiences so far, the staff was wonderful in almost every case.

6:42 - There's a desk outside for the Renova Spa. The gym is up the steps (sorry, couldn't show that). There's also a massage table for the spa out in the grassy area behind the hotel, too.
6:48 - "La Toscana" is the Riu's Italian restaurant
7:15 - "La Fiesta" is the outdoor entertainment venue where they have shows some evenings, including a Michael Jackson show

8:02 - Pool number two - the infinity pool with swim-up bar
8:27 - This is called the "Wet'N Drinking" bar. Yes, that's actually the name.
9:15 - Riu Cancun "Sport Bar". They have great coffee here, too.
9:53 - The coolers in the back of the Sport Bar are stocked 24/7
10:35 - There are two hotel "towers". There are restrooms here and elevators to the 2nd tower.
11:04 - This restaurant was mostly used as seating for the buffet.
11:27 - Riu's "Turquesa" - the main buffet as well as the steakhouse at dinner time.
11:53 - Let's check out the buffet at lunch AND at dinner!

18:18 - There was almost always a beach volleyball game going on.
18:40 - There's a water sports activity area down by the beach. These are not included with the resort cost.

23:19 - The elevators in the main lobby make a funny noise when they are coming down. It's from the air being pushed through the cracks in the elevator doors.
23:34 - This is a hallway. There are many like it, but this one was mine.
23:45 - Lagoon view - I don't think there are any rooms with this view, though.
23:54 - Here we are - room 724, an ocean view double room. Let's take a tour!
25:02 - You just can't beat the views of the ocean view rooms.
