Breckenridge, or just Breck for short, is a ski resort town in the Summit County of Colorado providing year round activities. It is one of most well-known ski towns in the country, and brings in people from all over the globe. And it is one of the most quintessential rocky mountain ski towns in the state.

Did you know there are some amazing things to do in the summer in Breckenridge that are totally free? During our trips to Breck we found some free activities that are our favorites.

+ Visiting small historic downtown with lots of shops and good food
+ Enjoying year round rides up and down the mountainside on the Breckenridge Gondola
+ Seeing wildlife at the Cucumber Gulch Preserve
+ Visiting Peak 7 and Peak 8 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort
+ Taking a photo with the 15ft tall Breckenridge Troll, Isak Heartstone
+ Biking and walking down the Blue Riverwalk path
