Marin DSX 2 Review - a Mountain Bikers Gravel Bike

If you're here because the thought of a flat bar gravel bike makes you feel some kinda way, then same same. When I first caught this gem on my insta feed, my first thought was, that's a sweet looking bike. Then I stayed for the comments. Which were either in favor of the idea of a flat bar gravel bike, or totally against it. Some calling it a rigid fork mountain bike or a modern hybrid bike. And while all those arguments are true, I think this bike is a flat bar gravel bike. It's got modern gravel bike geometry, sweet components, room to grow, rackability, light bike-packability, and it's fun. All for under $1200. Which is a healthy amount of money, but not completely out of reach. Anyway, I had a blast on it. And it can take a lot of abuse!
