Rooster Teeth has been having a rough go the last several months! The recent Rooster Teeth drama with Employees dropping like flies and inter-company personal issues have plagued the community! Many are calling for the fall of rooster teeth. With the recent firings of one Ryan Haywood and other Adam Kovic have brought a new tarnished look to their former employers! Though this is only the tip of the iceberg!

But this story goes much deeper than just Rooster Teeth!

The Rise of the social media celebrity has brought about a new Era of fan idolization!Ask any child who they aspire to be and more often than not they’ll name a popular internet personality! And now more than ever we have the ability to connect to these influencers, connections that sometimes have a darker side.

Social media has created a hyperreality wherein the distance between regular individuals and their idols is slowly shortening, or at least appearing to, and now we’re seeing an even more dangerous development, the emergence of the “stan!”

Allowing for influencers to take advantage of this "fan/personality relationship!" Today we will discuss three situations, with similar background, but different nuance! From the Fall of Austin Jones, to the recent situation with youtube commentator "Pyrocynical," Rooster Teeth's Ryan Haywood in many ways was just another bad situation in a ocean of allegations!
