How to Setup MyDMX Go for a Flawless and Fun Mobile DJ Light Show

The ADJ MyDMX Go, or Light Rider, is an easy way to get into DMX programming and small light show production -- which is perfect for a mobile DJ who performs at weddings, events, and parties. However there are a few things that can introduce variability and connection issues. Through research and trial + error, I've cracked the code for a flawless, consistent operation with the unit. My implementation is with an iPad but I believe most of what I'm discussing will be universal. In this video I'm sharing my tips which center around:

1. MyDMX GO unit placement in relationship to the tablet, and DMX transmitter
2. MyDMX GO firmware and settings
3. Tablet (iPad) settings and operation
