FLAU'JAE FANS REMEMBER HER FATHER CAMOUFLAGE

Flaujae's national recognition soared when LSU secured its first women's title which is a major plus for her journey. In this episode of Hood Affairs Flaujae goes back to her hometown of Savannah, Ga to give back to her community in a weekend of festivities that was free for everyone. Along with Puma and DTLR she gave back school supplies , sneakers , and clothing. Flau'jae plans to repeat this every year and says she wants to do more for her community thanks to the NIL money coming in.

Flau'jae Johnson's journey in the music started as a child, she started rapping and gained recognition by appearing on "The Rap Game" and "America's Got Talent" twice. Her father Jason Johnson, was a major figure in the southern music scene and went by the the rap name Camouflage. Her music career which is growing is also tied to the success of her basketball career. And being a pioneer at the present moment as she continuously works on both crafts. She just so happens to be great at creating music and playing basketball.

After the NCAA's adoption of the name, image, and likeness policy in 2021 it's made it possible for Flau'jae NIL deal and her teammates Angel Reese NIL Deal to be one of the best deal in women's sports.
Acknowledging her innovative approach, she received the Innovator of the Year award at the recent NIL Summit for making the most of the opportunities provided by the policy change. At just 17, she signed a distribution deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation, thanks to connections through Jermaine Jackson, manager of LaMelo Ball, who recruited her for an AAU team.
