Drone Photography on Location with the Mavic 2 Pro

Drone photography is something I really should do more of, especially with the Mavic 2 Pro. The Mavic 2 Pro is turning out to be an amazing tool. It gets me to angles and perspectives I couldn't do otherwise. But, I worry that drone photography almost makes me a lazier photographer. When the Mavic 2 Pro is in the air, how much do I think about composition, and how much do I rely the fact that everything from the air looks better?
So, here in South Africa I went out today and did some drone photography. But, honestly, it wasn't really the goal. I wanted to take some photos of the landscape near a lighthouse. But, when I couldn't get the right angle for the situation, the drone made the most sense.
And, luckily, the 1 inch sensor on the Mavic 2 Pro is just incredible. It really does make really wonderful images.
After the drone flight, I gave some of my drone photography tips and thoughts on composition while doing aerial photography.
This location here near Cape Town turned out to be brilliant. Hopefully, I can get back to here at some point and find some other epic landscape photography locations in South Africa while I'm at it.
