LANL: Using Advanced Annealing Options of D-Wave 2000Q

D-Wave 2000Q offers annealing options that allow a better control on the annealing parameters, which options can be used to mitigate the effects of hardware biases or to get additional insight into the dynamics of the process. We discuss our experience with three such features--spin reversal, quenching, and h-gain--for three different purposes.
