How to save a sick baby chick

We purchased 8 baby chickens from a local feed store here in northern California. Not long after they were placed in the brooder, one of them ended up very dehydrated. Here are the steps we took to save our young chick.

It's not uncommon for baby chicks to become dehydrated. You may notice them wobbling around like their legs are injured, flapping their wings vigorously, or just not moving much at all. Follow these steps and you should see your young chicken take a turn for the better!
