After Christmas, New Year’s, the January Sales and the Haute Couture Fashion Week, for a few short-lived months, Paris feels empty and sad. This coupled with the gloomy days may lead to winter blues (or seasonal affective disorder). You wake up in the morning, wishing, expecting light or sun. When the sky is gray, it can rob you of energy and motivation. The heavy clouds, the sun starved cold and rainy days dull the most optimistic spirits. Some days are crisp and warmer, others damp and gray. Either way, it is cold, but that is no reason to stay inside...
