Andrew Bolt praises 'funny guy' Anthony Albanese's QT comeback
Sky News host Andrew Bolt has praised “funny guy” Anthony Albanese for his response to an “attempted gotcha” by Teal MP Monique Ryan.
A “sanctimonious” Ms Ryan questioned the Prime Minister’s attendance at a $ 5,000-a-head function following the 2024 federal budget.
Mr Albanese’s response was; “I have had the great honour of being the Australian Labor Party candidate in ten elections – during those ten elections as a candidate for Grayndler, I have spent less money on those ten campaigns than the member for Kooyong did in her one”.
Mr Bolt explained Ms Ryan “got elected to the Victorian seat of Kooyong with the money of global warming crusaders”.
“So, she should have thought twice before asking Albanese this attempted gotcha today.”
