”ONE” with absolutely no bass vs. The Remastered Album

No Justice for Jason… I love Jason. But in my experience mixing my own music, even a low bass can make a difference for the overall sound. Testing my ‘theory,’ I made a mix with only drums, guitars, and vocals.

Note: Isolated tracks differ from the album and some have lower audio quality, especially the drums here. Keep this in mind when comparing.

To me, zero bass feels very incomplete though, especially in the clean parts. Though barely audible on the album, the bass stil makes a difference. Despite being subtle it also becomes a lot more apparent after repeated listens to this.

But that's just me… We all have different ears, speakers, headphones etc. If you mix music a lot you also get used to really notice every single detail more. Etc. Even a very low bass 😉
