CDRA Press for the Adjustment of Railway Wheelsets CDRA 500 ŽĎAS, a.s.

The CDRA Hydraulic Press is designed to produce railway wheelsets using cold pressing, without the use of guide bushings and with axle turning. This machine also allows for the pressing of parts between the wheels. In addition to pressing on, the machine allows for the pressing off and the checking of fittings. The press is horizontal with columnar construction. The press cylinder, located in the stationary crossbeam, applies force on the pressed components against the bearing crossbeam. The crossbeam moves along threaded anchors which have preset measured positions.
The supporting crossbeam is equipped with hydraulic wheel centering, while the rear crossbeam is equipped with a hydraulic axle centering. The control system provides control of the press, diagnostics of the pressing operation and identification of errors.
