Young People's Concert: Once Upon a Symphony

On March 20, 2022, the Marine Chamber Orchestra presented a Young People's Concert with guest composer James Stephenson at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center in Alexandria, Va. Conducted by Assistant Director Major Ryan Nowlin.

During the concert, join James Stephenson and the Marine Chamber Orchestra for an immersion in the fascinating world of musical composition. This highly engaging and interactive program not only introduces young audiences to the instruments of the symphony orchestra, but also involves them in the compositional process culminating in a unique world première performance.
