Today's Cover is Better Than This by Paloma Faith

Something very different for me! We've gone pop! Hope you enjoy Better Than This and the different editing too, wanted to try something different :)

Whenever I sing pop covers I feel like I'm being too polite (my musical theatre brain is telling me to focus on diction and punctuation etc) and quite boring, because I'm not used to hearing my voice in my 'natural state'. Normally I'll be playing a character which then means that my tone my slightly change. But I'm being brave and stepping into the unknown and telling myself that I'm better than this (see what I did there!)

#BetterThanThis is such a beautiful song by #PalomaFaith and so relevant to current times. We tell our selves to be better, that there is better, and then there's that voice telling us actually, this is all we have. With this current pandemic that we find ourselves in, it's easy to forget what our original goals were and difficult to keep up with promises we once gave ourselves. Do what is right for you and do it at your own pace. Your path is a marathon not a sprint. Hope you enjoy my #cover 💗
