Autistic Woman in CT worries about caring for her horse during CT lockdown

Kobeejo has been my horse, my son, my soulmate, and most importantly, my therapy, for 16 years (he is 27 yrs old). I board him at a public boarding facility. I have autism, I work from home as a writer, and other than that, I only go out each day to care for my horse. The barn owners have expressed concern about allowing those of us who board our horses at their facility. They worry about receiving a fine or worse if they allow us in to care for our horses after the Monday (3-23-2020) deadline.
I need to be with him daily, not only for my mental well being, but for his health... He had major abdominal surgery 3 weeks ago and is on rehab. I am the only one who can truly care for him and knows all his needs during this time.
PLEASE let Governor Lamont know that those of us with horses who need our care need to be exempt from this rule of staying away. I do take this virus seriously. I wash my hands all the time and sanitize them before, during and after caring for my horse. Other than my horse's care, I'm happy to stay home. I work at home, get deliveries and tend to stay away from crowds.
