How to make money on Facebook with Videos

So today, let's talk about how to money on Facebook and what you need.

1. How Getting Monetizeed on Youtube works
- To put ads on your videos and to be able to make money
- This basically how on youtube we put ads on our videos
- And in order to become a partner you need 1k subs and 4k hours watched in one year

Well For Facebook: it’s a little more different
- You have to grow your Facebook Page to 10,000 followers
- In 60 days you need 30,000 1 minute views on videos over 3 minutes
- Because by the way, you only get paid if your videos are over 3M

So this means:
- First, you need those 10k followers, so you have to ask people to follow you and like the page ( that’s 27 followers a day to get to the goal in one year )
- If you post a good video and you get 30k views and you manage to retain 1 minute of attention then you can get monetized
- And that’s it

Fan Subscriptions: which to me sounds twitch
- People subscribe to you, to support your channel
- Criteria grow your audience: 10k follower or 250 returning viewers ( and I like that, it means if you have a strong community, they can help you )
- Criteria 2 is engaging content: 50k post engagement in 60 days or 180k minutes between all your videos

So this means:
- You have to grow your audience and also have them returning back to you ( this means you make connections with people, its not all about money)
- You also have to post a lot of quality content that’s going to be shared and rewatched

Brand Collabs
- This allows brands to collab with you and you to earn money
- But only once you have 1k followers and are getting a lot of engagement

Tip: this is not going to be easy. Not at all.

2. Example of people ( and myself ) – Live Stream and Standard Content

Johnny Nonny:
- This guy has 2.4M followers and if just 1% of the audience helps him out $5 that’s 120k a month
- But he making content for a 3 years

Other Average Dad
- This guy has 2940 subscriber and make a lot of money obviously
- But it's not just about money, this guy has been posting a ton of content for a long time to

Tommy Bryson:
- I’ve posted a video now every day for nearly 2 years
- I started when I was 11 years old
- Yes I make around 30-40k a month but it didn’t start way

3. Advice from a friend
- Pick something you enjoy and are good at
- Start making a lot of content around it ( but start small, maybe a video a week )
- Also learn something new every day about your content or craft
- And listen to what the successful people do
- Do this for 18 months and see the results, then continue for 36 months in total, and then let me know how it went

Tips:
- Facebook is used 98% by mobile phone users and only 2% by other laptops and desktop computers. ( 4:5 aspect ratio instead of 16:9)
Notice that most popular videos are filmed for a phone used primarily.

- Just like youtube: you have to be consistent, engaging, and talk to your audience ( take time to respond)

- You can just recycle content, but you have to do it the Gary way. Gary takes a 1-hour talk and turns into a massive amount of content. ( Instagram short and sweet, youtube long and thoughtful, TikTok just the hook and punch line, and Facebook a combination between youtube and Instagram)
